The choir is a group within the church, which consists of passionate vocalists and musicians that are dedicated to using their God given skills and gifts for His glory. Their responsibility involves ministering to the congregation through music and leading the congregation in worship of our heavenly Father.
The teaching ministry is primarily responsible for teaching members the word of God along with the church’s doctrines. This done through our Bible Study classes, workers in training sessions (to assist intending workers understand the church’s expectation of their roles), believers class (brings a new believer up to speed about their new found Faith) and baptismal class (preparatory class for water baptism targeted at members who have undergone the believers class / generally anyone who has given their lives to Christ however has not been baptised).
Ushering & Beautification
Our Ushering team is responsible for duties that ensures the church programmes are organised and conducted in the most orderly manner. Ushers also maintain the church financial and attendance records (in conjunction with the finance department). They are the workers that can be called upon at any time by both the ministers and other church members for an assignment and assistance during the service.
The team is also responsible for overall sanitation and beautification of our church environment.
We have a dedicated and caring team who cares for our children. Your children are well secured and protected by these well-trained teachers that are spirit filled. Be free to bring your children while coming to worship with us. They will love to come back again as they join other children like them singing and jumping in the love of God and their lives will never remain same again.
The Media team aims provides and maintains innovative ways to facilitate all church functions through technological and social media advancement. They also manage all IT related services in the church including projecting songs / scriptures during service, managing the sound system, recording of messages, maintaining the church website, face book account and mail boxes, supporting all the PCs/Laptops/TVs in the children church, photography and video coverage of church programs, making video presentations for church needs.
The welfare team “looks after” first time visitors of the church. After Sunday services all guests are warmly welcomed in a polite and friendly atmosphere. The team provide information on the church weekly programs and upcoming events to our esteemed guests. In addition, the welfare team looks after the general welfare of church members by following up in the areas where the church can be of help and where possible connect them to the appropriate professionals / support system in their area of need. This team also assist with logistics / car / taxi for the parishioners who requires transport to get to and from church.
In line with the injunction from our Lord Jesus Christ to propagate the gospel, the evangelism unit of the church is dedicated to organising and leading the corporate evangelism outings and outreaches of the church. It also organises the materials and resources needed to facilitate these outing.
Along with Evangelism, the team also inspires the congregation to trust God in the place of prayer and specifically organises / coordinates all our prayer focused programs including the monthly “Divine Intervention Hour”.
RCF University of Wollongong
This is a Christian fellowship for students of the University of Wollongong. Our main goal is to share the Good News of the Bible in a more relaxed, open forum setting that is more appealing to youth.
